We’ve all been there, our young ones are getting there too. Instead of surrendering to the stereotypes, ignoring them until they fade away is the option, as well as educating children and teenagers, that beauty doesn’t have a standard physically, it is however internal, the way you speak of people, the way you treat them, and how much you work on yourself to be a good person, is beauty. It’s something both I and Houda have dealt with in school, constant bullying for looking a certain way, we both have said STOP years ago, and if you still didn’t, it’s your time now.
